Joint Cell Calling

Plots
Scatterplot that represents each barcode as a point. The position on the x-axis reflects the number of ATAC transposition events in peaks associated with that barcode, while the position on the y-axis corresponds to the number of gene expression UMI counts. Classification of each barcode into non-cell and cell groups is represented as different colors. Non-cell barcodes represent a combination of background or barcodes excluded from cell calling. Barcodes are excluded if the ATAC data suggests they are gel bead doublets or if the fraction of transposition events in peaks is low. For ease of rendering non-cell barcodes are deduplicated (i.e. barcodes with identical counts are collapsed into a single point) and downsampled by density so that no greater than 2000 non-cell points are plotted.
